Terms and conditions
1. Scope and Contracting Party
These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through the online store riccava.com. The contracting party is Julian Handl, Adrian-Hoven-Straße 10, 2752 Wöllersdorf, Austria, email: servus@riccava.com, phone: +43 670 505 80 45. A consumer within the meaning of these Terms and Conditions is any natural person acting for purposes that cannot be attributed to their commercial or professional activity.
2. Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of products in the store is not a legally binding offer but a non-binding invitation to place an order. By submitting your order via the "Buy now" or "Pay now" button, you make a binding offer to conclude a purchase contract. The purchase contract is concluded when we send our order confirmation by email. Before submitting, you can review and correct your entries at any time. We store the contract text and send it to you by email together with the order confirmation. The contract language is German.
3. Prices and Payment
The prices stated at the time of ordering apply, in euros. As a small business under Section 6(1)(27) of the Austrian VAT Act (UStG), we do not charge VAT. Standard shipping to Austria and Germany is free; express shipping costs €9.99. Payment is made through the payment methods offered at checkout (including credit card, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and, where available, PayPal and Klarna). The purchase price is due upon conclusion of the contract.
4. Delivery
We ship to Austria and Germany with Austrian Post (Österreichische Post). The delivery times and terms of our Shipping Policy apply; delivery usually takes place within 1 to 3 business days after shipping. If a product is unavailable, we will inform you without delay and refund any payments already made.
5. Retention of Title
The goods remain our property until paid in full.
6. Statutory Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days. You can find the details, exceptions, and the sample withdrawal form in our Right of Withdrawal notice.
7. Voluntary 30-Day Return Policy
In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal, we grant you a voluntary 30-day return policy from receipt of the goods. Within this period, you may return the goods to us without giving any reason. The goods must be returned unopened and unused in their original packaging. You bear the return shipping costs. The refund will be issued to the means of payment originally used. The statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected.
8. Subscriptions
Where we offer a subscription, placing the order concludes a contract for recurring deliveries at the selected interval. The applicable price is charged to the payment method on file before each delivery. You can cancel the subscription at any time without notice through your customer account or by email to servus@riccava.com; deliveries already paid for will still be shipped. We announce price changes by email at least 14 days before the next delivery.
9. Warranty
The statutory warranty provisions apply. For consumers, the warranty period is two years from delivery of the goods.
10. Safe Use
Our sauna essences are highly concentrated and flammable. They must only be used diluted in the sauna infusion water, never undiluted on the stones or on the skin. Please follow the instructions on dosage, safety, and storage on the packaging and on the respective product page, as well as the hazard and safety notices provided there. Keep out of reach of children.
11. Dispute Resolution
We are neither obligated nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
12. Applicable Law
Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection afforded by mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which they have their habitual residence.
